National Preservation Month
We are honored to have been recognized by the Kirkwood Landmarks Commission during National Preservation Month. Blaes Architects received three awards: New Home of Merit for 403 Longfellow Avenue, Renovation and Addition of Distinction for work on Unsell-Cabell House at 615 East Monroe Avenue, and Renovation and Addition of Distinction for work on Seven Gables at 503 East Monroe Avenue.

Preservation Month is organized by the National Park Service and the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and every May promotes civic and community pride by showcasing historic buildings across the country.
Webster Groves Awards of Excellence
Blaes Architects is proud to have received an honorable mention from Webster Groves Awards of Excellence for architecture. The award was granted for outstanding work on 401 Tuxedo Boulevard.
Webster Arts Fair 2018
Blaes Architects is a proud sponsor of the Webster Arts Fair. For more than a decade, the Webster Arts Fair has brought over a hundred juried artists to the heart of Webster Groves. The Fair features live music, great food, and award winning art from across the country. The 2018 Webster Arts Fair takes place June 1st through 3rd on the grounds of Eden Seminary.
Kirkwood Architect of the Year
We are honored to have been named the City of Kirkwood's architect of the year for 2018. The award was presented on May 9th by the City of Kirkwood Landmark Commission. Blaes Architects was also presented with a Favorite Building Award for an Addition of Merit for our work on 434 N. Harrison.
